Kore son of Imnah the Levite, keeper of the east gate, was in charge of the freewill offerings to God, to apportion the contribution reserved for the Lord and the most holy offerings.


the governor told them that they were not to partake of the most holy food until there should be a priest to consult Urim and Thummim.


They shall eat the grain offering, the purification offering, and the guilt offering, and every devoted thing in Israel shall be theirs.


He said to me, “This is the place where the priests shall boil the guilt offering and the purification offering and where they shall bake the grain offering, in order not to bring them out into the outer court and so communicate holiness to the people.”

And what is left of the grain offering shall be for Aaron and his sons, a most holy part of the offerings by fire to the Lord.


He may eat the food of his God, of the most holy as well as of the holy.


Thus the priest shall make atonement on your behalf for whichever of these sins you have committed, and you shall be forgiven. As with the grain offering, the rest shall be for the priest.”


Aaron and his sons shall eat what is left of it; it shall be eaten as unleavened cakes in a holy place; in the court of the tent of meeting they shall eat it.


Every grain offering of a priest shall be wholly burned; it shall not be eaten.”


“Command Aaron and his sons: This is the rule of the burnt offering. The burnt offering itself shall remain on the hearth upon the altar all night until the morning, while the fire on the altar shall be kept burning.


“The guilt offering is like the purification offering; the same rule applies to them: the priest who makes atonement with it shall have it.


This shall be yours from the most holy things, reserved from the fire: every offering of theirs that they render to me as a most holy thing, whether grain offering, purification offering, or guilt offering, shall belong to you and your sons.


I chose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest, to go up to my altar, to offer incense, to wear an ephod before me, and I gave to the family of your ancestor all my offerings by fire from the Israelites.
