Take with you seven pairs of all clean animals, the male and its mate; and a pair of the animals that are not clean, the male and its mate;


Its priests have done violence to my teaching and have profaned my holy things; they have made no distinction between the holy and the common, neither have they taught the difference between the unclean and the clean, and they have disregarded my Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them.


They shall teach my people the difference between the holy and the common and show them how to distinguish between the unclean and the clean.


But Daniel resolved that he would not defile himself with the royal rations of food and wine, so he asked the palace master to allow him not to defile himself.


You are to distinguish between the holy and the common and between the unclean and the clean,


“This is the law pertaining to land animal and bird and every living creature that moves through the waters and every creature that swarms upon the earth,


The Lord spoke to Moses, saying,


Then once more you shall see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve him.
