7 Likewise, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which, in the same manner as they, indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural lust, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.

Do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived! The sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, male prostitutes, men who engage in illicit sex,


If the Lord of hosts had not left us a few survivors, we would have been like Sodom and become like Gomorrah.


I overthrew some of you as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and you were like a brand snatched from the fire; yet you did not return to me, says the Lord.


and they called to Lot, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us, so that we may know them.”


But by the same word the present heavens and earth have been reserved for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the godless.

But I tell you that on the day of judgment it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom than for you.”


Let that man be like the cities that the Lord overthrew without pity; let him hear a cry in the morning and an alarm at noon,


For the chastisement of my people has been greater than the punishment of Sodom, which was overthrown in a moment, though no hand was laid on it.


The sinners in Zion are afraid; trembling has seized the godless: “Who among us can live with the devouring fire? Who among us can live with everlasting flames?”

Truly I tell you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town.


and to give relief to the afflicted as well as to us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels


in a fiery flame, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.


Even so, many will follow their debaucheries, and because of these teachers the way of truth will be maligned.
