Then Abram fell on his face, and God said to him,


And yet this was a small thing in your eyes, O Lord God; you have spoken also of your servant’s house into the distant future. May this be instruction for the people, O Lord God!


And what more can David say to you? For you know your servant, O Lord God!


The Lord says to my lord, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool.”


Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah


But Moses said to the Lord, “O my Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor even now that you have spoken to your servant, but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.”


But he said, “O my Lord, please send someone else.”


See, I made him a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander for the peoples.


Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I; send me!”


So I rose up and went out into the valley, and the glory of the Lord stood there, like the glory that I had seen by the River Chebar, and I fell on my face.


But the prince of the kingdom of Persia opposed me twenty-one days. So Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, and I left him there with the prince of the kingdom of Persia


But I am to tell you what is inscribed in the book of truth. There is no one with me who contends against these princes except Michael, your prince.


“At that time Michael, the great prince, the protector of your people, shall arise. There shall be a time of anguish such as has never occurred since nations first came into existence. But at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone who is found written in the book.


Even against the prince of the host it acted arrogantly; it took the regular burnt offering away from him and overthrew the place of his sanctuary.


Fire came out from the Lord and consumed the burnt offering and the fat on the altar, and when all the people saw it, they shouted and fell on their faces.


They fell on their faces and said, “O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one person sin and you become angry with the whole congregation?”


“Get away from this congregation, so that I may consume them in a moment.” And they fell on their faces.


Then the Lord opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the road, with his drawn sword in his hand, and he bowed down, falling on his face.


‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand, until I put your enemies under your feet” ’?


and there was a man with a skin disease who came to him and knelt before him, saying, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”


And why has this happened to me, that the mother of my Lord comes to me?


For David himself says in the book of Psalms, ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand


Once when he was in one of the cities, a man covered with a skin disease was there. When he saw Jesus, he bowed with his face to the ground and begged him, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”


Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!”


But get up and enter the city, and you will be told what you are to do.”


More than that, I regard everything as loss because of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things, and I regard them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ


It was fitting that God, for whom and through whom all things exist, in bringing many children to glory, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through sufferings.


Then the Lord spoke to Joshua, saying,


And war broke out in heaven; Michael and his angels fought against the dragon. The dragon and his angels fought back,
