he was angry also at Job’s three friends because they had found no answer, though they had declared Job to be in the wrong.


After the Lord had spoken these words to Job, the Lord said to Eliphaz the Temanite: “My wrath is kindled against you and against your two friends, for you have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has.


the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, those with a skin disease are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have good news brought to them.


But when Jesus heard it, he said, “This illness does not lead to death; rather, it is for God’s glory, so that the Son of God may be glorified through it.”


Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?”


When the local people saw the creature hanging from his hand, they said to one another, “This man must be a murderer; though he has escaped from the sea, Justice has not allowed him to live.”


After threatening them again, they let them go, finding no way to punish them because of the people, for all of them praised God for what had happened.


So we have known and believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them.


God’s love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might live through him.
