At that very time there were some present who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.


Now when Jesus returned, the crowd welcomed him, for they were all waiting for him.


but they did not receive him because his face was set toward Jerusalem.


When he was in Jerusalem during the Passover festival, many believed in his name because they saw the signs that he was doing.


He came to Jesus by night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with that person.”


Now this was the second sign that Jesus did after coming from Judea to Galilee.


“Three times a year all your males shall appear before the Lord your God at the place that he will choose: at the Festival of Unleavened Bread, at the Festival of Weeks, and at the Festival of Booths. They shall not appear before the Lord empty-handed;
