Then Peter and the other disciple set out and went toward the tomb.


He bent down to look in and saw the linen wrappings lying there, but he did not go in.


Then the other disciple, who reached the tomb first, also went in, and he saw and believed,


Do you not know that in a race the runners all compete, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win it.


For if the eagerness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.
