My child, stop ignoring instruction, straying from words of knowledge.


And he said to them, “Pay attention to what you hear; the measure you give will be the measure you get, and it will be added to you.


So pay attention to how you listen, for to those who have, more will be given, and from those who do not have, even what they seem to have will be taken away.”


I have other sheep that do not belong to this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd.


When he has brought out all his own, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice.


For the time is coming when people will not put up with sound teaching, but, having their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own desires


They went out from us, but they did not belong to us, for if they had belonged to us they would have remained with us. But by going out they made it plain that none of them belongs to us.


I write to you, not because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and you know that no lie comes from the truth.
