But I would speak to the Almighty, and I desire to argue my case with God.


“Agree with God, and be at peace; in this way good will come to you.


You will pray to him, and he will hear you, and you will pay your vows.


If you will seek God and make supplication to the Almighty,


Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.


Call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.”


But you, O Lord of hosts, who judge righteously, who try the heart and the mind, let me see your retribution upon them, for to you I have committed my cause.


and for this reason I suffer as I do. But I am not ashamed, for I know the one in whom I have put my trust, and I am sure that he is able to guard until that day the deposit I have entrusted to him.


When he was abused, he did not return abuse; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but he entrusted himself to the one who judges justly.


Therefore, let those suffering in accordance with God’s will entrust their lives to a faithful Creator, while continuing to do good.
