Now the sons of Eli were scoundrels; they had no regard for the Lord


But Pharaoh said, “Who is the Lord, that I should listen to him and let Israel go? I do not know the Lord, and I will not let Israel go.”


Their tent cord is plucked up within them, and they die devoid of wisdom.’


This is the portion of the wicked from God, the heritage decreed for them by God.”
