So God created the great sea monsters and every living creature that moves, of every kind, with which the waters swarm and every winged bird of every kind. And God saw that it was good.


God made the wild animals of the earth of every kind and the cattle of every kind and everything that creeps upon the ground of every kind. And God saw that it was good.


The tents of robbers are at peace, and those who provoke God are secure, who bring their god in their hands.


ask the plants of the earth, and they will teach you, and the fish of the sea will declare to you.


Will they not teach you and tell you and utter words out of their understanding?


Four things on earth are small, yet they are exceedingly wise:


Go to the ant, you lazybones; consider its ways and be wise.


The ox knows its owner and the donkey its master’s crib, but Israel does not know; my people do not understand.


Even the stork in the heavens knows its times, and the turtledove, swallow, and crane observe the time of their coming, but my people do not know the ordinance of the Lord.


Ever since the creation of the world God’s eternal power and divine nature, invisible though they are, have been seen and understood through the things God has made. So they are without excuse,
