“Is not God high in the heavens? See the highest stars, how lofty they are!


These are indeed but the outskirts of his ways, and how small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?”


I will teach you concerning the hand of God; that which is with the Almighty I will not conceal.


“But in this you are not right. I will answer you: God is greater than any mortal.


Why do you contend against him, saying, ‘He will answer none of my words’?


Look at the heavens and see; observe the clouds, which are higher than you.


Surely God is great, and we do not know him; the number of his years is unsearchable.


The Almighty—we cannot find him; he is great in power and justice, and abundant righteousness he will not violate.


God thunders wondrously with his voice; he does great things that we cannot comprehend.


‘Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?’ Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand, things too wonderful for me that I did not know.


He does great things and unsearchable, marvelous things without number.


Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is so high that I cannot attain it.


Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised; his greatness is unsearchable.


Your way was through the sea, your path through the mighty waters, yet your footprints were unseen.


Who has ascended to heaven and come down? Who has gathered the wind in the hollow of the hand? Who has wrapped up the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is the person’s name? And what is the name of the person’s child? Surely you know!


He has made everything suitable for its time; moreover, he has put a sense of past and future into their minds, yet they cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.


That which is, is far off, and deep, very deep; who can find it out?


Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.


All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.


O the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!


God has revealed to us through the Spirit, for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.


“For who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.


Although I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given to me to bring to the gentiles the news of the boundless riches of Christ
