Again I passed by, and they were no more; though I sought them, they could not be found.

The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord after Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had let him go from Ramah, when he took him bound in fetters along with all the captives of Jerusalem and Judah who were being exiled to Babylon.


Our ancestors sinned; they are no more, and we bear their iniquities.


He spread it before me; it had writing on the front and on the back, and written on it were words of lamentation and mourning and woe.


She used to sit under the palm of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim, and the Israelites came up to her for judgment.
