I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your offspring after you.


The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until tribute comes to him, and the obedience of the peoples is his.


Is not my house like this with God? For he has made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things and secure. Will he not cause to prosper all my help and my desire?


now, therefore, may it please you to bless the house of your servant so that it may continue forever before you, for you, O Lord God, have spoken, and with your blessing shall the house of your servant be blessed forever.”


O Lord God, do not reject your anointed one. Remember your steadfast love for your servant David.”


I incline my heart to perform your statutes forever, to the end.


Let me live that I may praise you, and let your ordinances help me.


Give ear, O my people, to my teaching; incline your ears to the words of my mouth.


Forever I will keep my steadfast love for him, and my covenant with him will stand firm.


I will establish his line forever and his throne as long as the heavens endure.


He said, “If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in his sight, and give heed to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will not bring upon you any of the diseases that I brought upon the Egyptians, for I am the Lord who heals you.”


My child, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings.

Listen to me, my people, and give heed to me, my nation, for a teaching will go out from me and my justice for a light to the peoples.


For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed, says the Lord, who has compassion on you.


In overflowing wrath for a moment I hid my face from you, but with everlasting love I will have compassion on you, says the Lord, your Redeemer.


For I, the Lord, love justice, I hate robbery and wrongdoing; I will faithfully give them their recompense, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.

While he was still speaking, suddenly a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, the Beloved; with him I am well pleased; listen to him!”


My sheep hear my voice. I know them, and they follow me.


Everything that the Father gives me will come to me, and anyone who comes to me I will never drive away,


On the last day of the festival, the great day, while Jesus was standing there, he cried out, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me,


Whoever is from God hears the words of God. The reason you do not hear them is that you are not from God.”


“As to his raising him from the dead, no more to return to corruption, he has spoken in this way, ‘I will give you the holy promises made to David.’


Moses writes concerning the righteousness that comes from the law, that “the person who does these things will live by them.”


Now may the God of peace, who brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant,
