After the Lord had spoken these words to Job, the Lord said to Eliphaz the Temanite: “My wrath is kindled against you and against your two friends, for you have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has.


Therefore let all who are faithful offer prayer to you; at a time of distress, the rush of mighty waters shall not reach them.


For you, O God, have heard my vows; you have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.


I will come praising the mighty deeds of the Lord God; I will praise your righteousness, yours alone.


and your righteousness, O God, reach the high heavens. You who have done great things, O God, who is like you?


Woe, the thunder of many peoples, they thunder like the thundering of the sea! The roar of nations, they roar like the roaring of mighty waters!


Open the gates, so that the righteous nation that maintains faithfulness may enter in.

If anyone stirs up strife, it is not from me; whoever stirs up strife with you shall fall because of you.


See, it is I who have created the smith who blows the fire of coals and produces a weapon fit for its purpose; I have also created the ravager to destroy.
