Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; bring an offering and come before him. Worship the Lord in holy splendor;


Now the leaders of the people lived in Jerusalem, and the rest of the people cast lots to bring one out of ten to live in the holy city Jerusalem, while nine-tenths remained in the other towns.


Your people will offer themselves willingly on the day you lead your forces on the holy mountains. From the womb of the morning, like dew, your youth will come to you.


You shall make sacred vestments for the glorious adornment of your brother Aaron.


“For Aaron’s sons you shall make tunics and sashes and headdresses; you shall make them for their glorious adornment.


How the faithful city has become a prostitute! She that was full of justice, righteousness lodged in her— but now murderers!


And I will restore your judges as at the first and your counselors as at the beginning. Afterward you shall be called the city of righteousness, the faithful city.


Open the gates, so that the righteous nation that maintains faithfulness may enter in.


A highway shall be there, and it shall be called the Holy Way; the unclean shall not travel on it, but it shall be for God’s people; no traveler, not even fools, shall go astray.


Whoever is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy, everyone who has been recorded for life in Jerusalem,


For they call themselves after the holy city and lean on the God of Israel; the Lord of hosts is his name.


Lift up your eyes all around and see; they all gather; they come to you. As I live, says the Lord, you shall put all of them on like an ornament, and like a bride you shall bind them on.


Rouse yourself, rouse yourself! Stand up, O Jerusalem, you who have drunk at the hand of the Lord the cup of his wrath, who have drunk to the dregs the cup of staggering.


Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the Lord! Awake, as in days of old, the generations of long ago! Was it not you who cut Rahab in pieces, who pierced the dragon?


Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.


Your people shall all be righteous; they shall possess the land forever. They are the shoot that I planted, the work of my hands, so that I might be glorified.


I will greatly rejoice in the Lord; my whole being shall exult in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation; he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.


to provide for those who mourn in Zion— to give them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a faint spirit. They will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, to display his glory.


Your holy cities have become a wilderness; Zion has become a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.


Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Once more they shall use these words in the land of Judah and in its towns when I restore their fortunes: “The Lord bless you, O abode of righteousness, O holy hill!”


“Thus says the Lord God: No foreigner, uncircumcised in heart and flesh, of all the foreigners who are among the people of Israel, shall enter my sanctuary.


When I heard the sound of his words, I fell into a trance, face to the ground.


So you shall know that I, the Lord your God, dwell in Zion, my holy mountain. And Jerusalem shall be holy, and strangers shall never again pass through it.


Look! On the mountains the feet of one who brings good tidings, who proclaims peace! Celebrate your festivals, O Judah; fulfill your vows, for never again shall the wicked invade you; they are utterly cut off.


Yet now take courage, O Zerubbabel, says the Lord; take courage, O Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest; take courage, all you people of the land, says the Lord; work, for I am with you, says the Lord of hosts,


The angel said to those who were standing before him, “Take off his filthy clothes.” And to him he said, “See, I have taken your guilt away from you, and I will clothe you with festal apparel.”


Then the devil took him to the holy city and placed him on the pinnacle of the temple,


But the father said to his slaves, ‘Quickly, bring out a robe—the best one—and put it on him; put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet.


Instead, put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.


the righteousness of God through the faith of Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction,


and to clothe yourselves with the new self, created according to the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.


for everything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says, “Sleeper, awake! Rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”


Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his power;


but do not measure the court outside the temple; leave that out, for it is given over to the nations, and they will trample over the holy city for forty-two months.


And the armies of heaven, wearing fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses.


to her it has been granted to be clothed with fine linen, bright and pure”— for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.


And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.


But nothing unclean will enter it, nor anyone who practices abomination or falsehood, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
