All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered to you; the rams of Nebaioth shall minister to you; they shall be acceptable on my altar, and I will glorify my glorious house.


Look! On the mountains the feet of one who brings good tidings, who proclaims peace! Celebrate your festivals, O Judah; fulfill your vows, for never again shall the wicked invade you; they are utterly cut off.


How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of the messenger who announces peace, who brings good news, who announces salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”


then the lame shall leap like a deer, and the tongue of the speechless sing for joy. For waters shall break forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert;


For thus the Lord said to me: “Within a year, according to the years of a hired worker, all the glory of Kedar will come to an end,


Send lambs to the ruler of the land, from Sela, by way of the desert, to the mount of daughter Zion.


Woe is me, that I am an alien in Meshech, that I must live among the tents of Kedar.


And the Lord said to her, “Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples born of you shall be divided; the one shall be stronger than the other; the elder shall serve the younger.”


The terror you inspire and the pride of your heart have deceived you, you who live in the clefts of the rock, who hold the height of the hill. Although you make your nest as high as the eagle’s, from there I will bring you down, says the Lord.


Leave the towns, and live on the rock, O inhabitants of Moab! Be like the dove that nests on the sides of the mouth of a gorge.


See, I am against you, O inhabitant of the valley, O rock of the plain, says the Lord; you who say, “Who can come down against us, or who can enter our places of refuge?”


I am about to do a new thing; now it springs forth; do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.


The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad; the desert shall rejoice and blossom; like the crocus


Your proud heart has deceived you, you who live in the clefts of the rock, whose dwelling is in the heights. You say in your heart, “Who will bring me down to the ground?”


A voice cries out: “In the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord; make straight in the desert a highway for our God.


Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously; let this be known in all the earth.


Rise up; advance against a nation at ease, that lives secure, says the Lord, that has no gates or bars, that lives alone.


Arabia and all the princes of Kedar were your favored dealers in lambs, rams, and goats; in these they did business with you.
