The nations are in an uproar; the kingdoms totter; he utters his voice; the earth melts.


Be to me a rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress.


Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea. The Lord drove the sea back by a strong east wind all night and turned the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided.


Against a godless nation I send him, and against the people of my wrath I command him, to take spoil and seize plunder, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.


Therefore I will make the heavens tremble, and the earth will be shaken out of its place at the wrath of the Lord of hosts in the day of his fierce anger.


This is the plan that is planned concerning the whole earth, and this is the hand that is stretched out over all the nations.


The waters of the Nile will be dried up, and the river will be parched and dry;


Enter the caves of the rocks and the holes of the ground, from the terror of the Lord and from the glory of his majesty, when he rises to terrify the earth.


Cross over to your own land, O ships of Tarshish; this is a harbor no more.

For you have made the city a heap, the fortified city a ruin; the palace of foreigners is a city no more; it will never be rebuilt.

He was teaching and saying, “Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations’? But you have made it a den of robbers.”


He told those who were selling the doves, “Take these things out of here! Stop making my Father’s house a marketplace!”
