On that day, says the Lord, I will destroy the wise out of Edom and understanding out of Mount Esau.


They went up into the Negeb and came to Hebron, and Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the Anakites, were there. (Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.)


So Moses was instructed in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and was powerful in his words and deeds.
