How the faithful city has become a prostitute! She that was full of justice, righteousness lodged in her— but now murderers!


Many peoples shall come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth instruction and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.


The Lord is exalted; he dwells on high; he filled Zion with justice and righteousness;


In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression; indeed, you shall not fear; and from terror; indeed, it shall not come near you.


The descendants of those who oppressed you shall come bending low to you, and all who despised you shall bow down at your feet; they shall call you the City of the Lord, the Zion of the Holy One of Israel.


Your people shall all be righteous; they shall possess the land forever. They are the shoot that I planted, the work of my hands, so that I might be glorified.


Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Once more they shall use these words in the land of Judah and in its towns when I restore their fortunes: “The Lord bless you, O abode of righteousness, O holy hill!”


the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voices of those who sing as they bring thank offerings to the house of the Lord: “Give thanks to the Lord of hosts, for the Lord is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!” For I will restore the fortunes of the land as at first, says the Lord.


I will restore the fortunes of Judah and the fortunes of Israel and rebuild them as they were at first.

and I will bring them to live in Jerusalem. They shall be my people and I will be their God, in faithfulness and in righteousness.”


Now the man Moses was very humble, more so than anyone else on the face of the earth.


Moses was very angry and said to the Lord, “Pay no attention to their offering. I have not taken one donkey from them, and I have not harmed any one of them.”


But nothing unclean will enter it, nor anyone who practices abomination or falsehood, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
