and whoever gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones in the name of a disciple—truly I tell you, none of these will lose their reward.”

Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord because you know that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.

Therefore, my brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the sanctuary by the blood of Jesus,


He considered abuse suffered for the Christ to be greater wealth than the treasures of Egypt, for he was looking ahead to the reward.


For if the message declared through angels proved valid, and every transgression or disobedience received a just penalty,


For we have become partners of Christ, if only we hold our first confidence firm to the end.


Christ, however, was faithful over God’s house as a son, and we are his house if we hold firm the boldness and the pride inspired by hope.


Since, then, we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast to our confession.


Be on your guard, so that you do not lose what we have worked for but may receive a full reward.
