Then Abimelech took sheep and oxen and male and female slaves and gave them to Abraham and restored his wife Sarah to him.


Then Abraham prayed to God, and God healed Abimelech and also healed his wife and female slaves so that they bore children.


Abraham said of his wife Sarah, “She is my sister.” And King Abimelech of Gerar sent and took Sarah.


Then Abimelech went to him from Gerar, with Ahuzzath his adviser and Phicol the commander of his army.


They said, “We see plainly that the Lord has been with you, so we say, let there be an oath between you and us, and let us make a covenant with you


Know that I am with you and will keep you wherever you go and will bring you back to this land, for I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”


But Laban said to him, “If you will allow me to say so, I have learned by divination that the Lord has blessed me because of you;


and said to them, “I see that your father does not regard me as favorably as he did before. But the God of my father has been with me.


and came to the fortress of Tyre and to all the cities of the Hivites and Canaanites, and they went out to the Negeb of Judah at Beer-sheba.


Solomon son of David strengthened himself in his kingdom; the Lord his God was with him and made him exceedingly great.

What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?


After the secrets of the unbeliever’s heart are disclosed, that person will bow down before God and worship, declaring, “God is really among you.”


Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be content with what you have, for he himself has said, “I will never leave you or forsake you.”


The Lord said to Joshua, “This day I will begin to exalt you in the sight of all Israel, so that they may know that I will be with you as I was with Moses.

So David swore this to Saul. Then Saul went home, but David and his men went up to the stronghold.


As Samuel grew up, the Lord was with him and let none of his words fall to the ground.
