“You shall observe the Festival of Harvest, of the first fruits of your labor, of what you sow in the field. You shall observe the Festival of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you gather in from the field the fruit of your labor.


“Now this is what you shall offer on the altar: two lambs a year old regularly each day.


The taskmasters urged them on, saying, “Complete your work, the same daily assignment as when you were given straw.”


For his allowance, a regular daily allowance was given him by the king of Babylon, as long as he lived, up to the day of his death.


The Lord spoke to Moses, saying,


“These you shall offer to the Lord at your appointed festivals, in addition to your votive offerings and your freewill offerings, as your burnt offerings, your grain offerings, your drink offerings, and your offerings of well-being.”


Now the Jewish Festival of Booths was near.


On the last day of the festival, the great day, while Jesus was standing there, he cried out, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me,
