See, I have made your face hard against their faces and your forehead hard against their foreheads.


Say to the rebellious house, to the house of Israel: Thus says the Lord God: O house of Israel, let there be an end to all your abominations


But as for me, I am filled with power, with the spirit of the Lord, and with justice and might, to declare to Jacob his transgression and to Israel his sin.


They made their hearts adamant in order not to hear the law and the words that the Lord of hosts had sent by his spirit through the former prophets. Therefore great wrath came from the Lord of hosts.


This is right and acceptable before God our Savior,


It is the farmer who does the work who ought to have the first share of the crops.
