The Israelites went and did just as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron; so they did.


And he said, “Throw it on the ground.” So he threw the staff on the ground, and it became a snake, and Moses drew back from it.


Go to Pharaoh in the morning, as he is going out to the water; stand by at the bank of the Nile to meet him, and take in your hand the staff that was turned into a snake.


Moses and Aaron did just as the Lord commanded. In the sight of Pharaoh and of his officials he lifted up the staff and struck the water in the Nile; all the water in the river was turned into blood,


Moses and Aaron did so; they did just as the Lord commanded them.

Indeed, I have given you authority to tread on snakes and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will hurt you.
