Yet I planted you as a choice vine from the purest stock. How then did you turn degenerate and become a wild vine?


Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Once more they shall use these words in the land of Judah and in its towns when I restore their fortunes: “The Lord bless you, O abode of righteousness, O holy hill!”


I will rejoice in doing good to them, and I will plant them in this land in faithfulness, with all my heart and all my soul.


I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them, and I will bless them and multiply them and will set my sanctuary among them forevermore.


Then the nations shall know that I the Lord sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary is among them forevermore.”


They call peoples to the mountain; there they offer the right sacrifices, for they suck the affluence of the seas and the hidden treasures of the sand.”


But now, if your land is unclean, cross over into the Lord’s land, where the Lord’s tabernacle now stands, and take for yourselves a possession among us; only do not rebel against the Lord or rebel against us by building yourselves an altar other than the altar of the Lord our God.
