Then both Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly, saying, “It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken first to you. Since you reject it and judge yourselves to be unworthy of eternal life, we are now turning to the gentiles.


So they remained for a long time speaking boldly for the Lord, who testified to the word of his grace by granting signs and wonders to be done through them.


He began to speak boldly in the synagogue, but when Priscilla and Aquila heard him they took him aside and explained the Way of God to him more accurately.


He entered the synagogue and for three months spoke out boldly and argued persuasively about the kingdom of God.


All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them ability.

as you also join in helping us by your prayers, so that many may give thanks on our behalf for the blessing granted us through the prayers of many.


Since, then, we have such a hope, we act with complete frankness,


We have spoken frankly to you Corinthians; our heart is wide open to you.


I am being completely frank with you; I have great pride in you; I am filled with consolation; I am overjoyed in all our affliction.


Now as you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in utmost eagerness, and in our love for you—so we want you to excel also in this generous undertaking.


he has made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure that he set forth in Christ,


and to make everyone see what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God, who created all things,


I want their hearts to be encouraged and united in love, so that they may have all the riches of assured understanding and have the knowledge of God’s mystery, that is, Christ,


At the same time, pray for us as well, that God will open to us a door for the word, that we may declare the mystery of Christ, for which I am in prison,


but though we had already suffered and been shamefully mistreated at Philippi, as you know, we had courage in our God to declare to you the gospel of God in spite of great opposition.


Brothers and sisters, pray for us.


Finally, brothers and sisters, pray for us, so that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified everywhere, just as it is among you,


Without any doubt, the mystery of godliness is great: He was revealed in flesh, vindicated in spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among gentiles, believed in throughout the world, taken up in glory.


One thing more: prepare a guest room for me, for I am hoping through your prayers to be restored to you.


Pray for us; we are sure that we have a good conscience, desiring to act honorably in all things.
