The wise have eyes in their head, but fools walk in darkness. Yet I perceived that the same fate befalls all of them.


The discerning person looks to wisdom, but the eyes of a fool to the ends of the earth.


But the midwives feared God; they did not do as the king of Egypt commanded them, but they let the boys live.


For this reason, since the day we heard it, we have not ceased praying for you and asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,


Then I shall not be put to shame, having my eyes fixed on all your commandments.


No harm happens to the righteous, but the wicked are filled with trouble.


The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God, and keep his commandments, for that is the whole duty of everyone.
