The statutes and the ordinances and the law and the commandment that he wrote for you, you shall always be careful to observe. You shall not worship other gods;


These are the commandments that the Lord gave to Moses for the Israelites on Mount Sinai.


Remember the teaching of my servant Moses, the statutes and ordinances that I commanded him at Horeb for all Israel.


These are the commandments and the ordinances that the Lord commanded through Moses to the Israelites in the plains of Moab by the Jordan opposite Jericho.


The law indeed was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.


Beyond the Jordan in the land of Moab, Moses undertook to expound this law as follows:


“ ‘Cursed be anyone who does not uphold the words of this law by observing them.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen!’


You shall write on them all the words of this law when you have crossed over, to enter the land that the Lord your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, promised you.


You shall write on the stones all the words of this law very clearly.”


Moses charged us with the law as a possession for the assembly of Jacob.


Bezer in the wilderness on the tableland belonging to the Reubenites, Ramoth in Gilead belonging to the Gadites, and Golan in Bashan belonging to the Manassites.


These are the decrees and the statutes and ordinances that Moses spoke to the Israelites when they had come out of Egypt,


Now these are the kings of the land whom the Israelites defeated, whose land they occupied beyond the Jordan toward the east, from the Wadi Arnon to Mount Hermon, with all the Arabah eastward:
