Now after these things had been accomplished, Paul resolved in the Spirit to go through Macedonia and Achaia and then to go on to Jerusalem. He said, “After I have gone there, I must also see Rome.”

Am I not free? Am I not an apostle? Have I not seen Jesus our Lord? Are you not my work in the Lord?


so that it has become known throughout the whole imperial guard and to everyone else that my imprisonment is for Christ,


But the Lord stood by me and gave me strength, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the gentiles might hear it. So I was rescued from the lion’s mouth.
