The hand of God was also on Judah to give them one heart to do what the king and the officials commanded by the word of the Lord.

for he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. And a great many people were brought to the Lord.


“Therefore I have reached the decision that we should not trouble those gentiles who are turning to God,


praising God and having the goodwill of all the people. And day by day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved.


But many of those who heard the word believed, and they numbered about five thousand.


Yet more than ever believers were added to the Lord, great numbers of both men and women,


The word of God continued to spread; the number of the disciples increased greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests became obedient to the faith.


And all the residents of Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.


because our message of the gospel came to you not in word only but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction; just as you know what kind of persons we proved to be among you for your sake.
