The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever.


the fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever; the ordinances of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.


Surely his salvation is at hand for those who fear him, that his glory may dwell in our land.


The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.


By loyalty and faithfulness iniquity is atoned for, and by the fear of the Lord one avoids evil.

For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous in God’s sight but the doers of the law who will be justified.


When gentiles, who do not possess the law, by nature do what the law requires, these, though not having the law, are a law to themselves.

In that renewal there is no longer Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, enslaved and free, but Christ is all and in all!


If you perceive that he is righteous, you also know that everyone who does right has been born of him.
