He said, “Then bring some flour.” He threw it into the pot and said, “Serve the people and let them eat.” And there was nothing harmful in the pot.


But as one was felling a log, his ax head fell into the water; he cried out, “Alas, master! It was borrowed.”


He said, “Pick it up.” So he reached out his hand and took it.


He cried out to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a piece of wood; he threw it into the water, and the water became sweet. There the Lord made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he put them to the test.
