In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.


I have swept away your transgressions like a cloud and your sins like mist; return to me, for I have redeemed you.


Without any doubt, the mystery of godliness is great: He was revealed in flesh, vindicated in spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among gentiles, believed in throughout the world, taken up in glory.


For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily,


I in them and you in me, that they may become completely one, so that the world may know that you have sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.


“Look, the virgin shall become pregnant and give birth to a son, and they shall name him Emmanuel,” which means, “God is with us.”


On that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.


For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?


or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable; it keeps no record of wrongs;


It was always so: the cloud covered it by day and the appearance of fire by night.
