Riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might, and it is in your hand to make great and to give strength to all.


He died in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honor, and his son Solomon succeeded him.


Therefore the Lord established the kingdom in his hand. All Judah brought tribute to Jehoshaphat, and he had great riches and honor.


Amaziah said to the man of God, “But what shall we do about the hundred talents that I have given to the army of Israel?” The man of God answered, “The Lord is able to give you much more than this.”


He built towers in the wilderness and dug out many cisterns, for he had large herds, both in the Shephelah and in the plain, and he had farmers and vinedressers in the hills and in the fertile lands, for he loved the soil.


storehouses also for the yield of grain, wine, and oil; and stalls for all kinds of cattle and sheepfolds.


He had seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen, five hundred donkeys, and very many servants, so that this man was the greatest of all the people of the East.


Then the accuser answered the Lord, “Does Job fear God for nothing?


The Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning, and he had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand donkeys.


The blessing of the Lord makes rich, and toil adds nothing to it.


But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, so that he may confirm his covenant that he swore to your ancestors, as he is doing today.


The Lord makes poor and makes rich; he brings low; he also exalts.
