You are good and do good; teach me your statutes.

For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call on you.

And when Moses heard that, he agreed.


Any who are unclean but do not purify themselves, those persons shall be cut off from the assembly, for they have defiled the sanctuary of the Lord. Since the water for cleansing has not been dashed on them, they are unclean.


and said to him, “Although we are unclean through touching a corpse, why must we be kept from presenting the Lord’s offering at its appointed time among the Israelites?”


Examine yourselves, and only then eat of the bread and drink of the cup.


If you see your brother or sister committing what is not a deadly sin, you will ask, and God will give life to such a one—to those whose sin is not deadly. There is sin that is deadly; I do not say that you should pray about that.
