He set up the pillars at the vestibule of the temple; he set up the pillar on the south and called it Jachin, and he set up the pillar on the north and called it Boaz.


He made encircling chains and put them on the tops of the pillars, and he made one hundred pomegranates and put them on the chains.


The width of the vestibule was twenty cubits and the depth twelve cubits; ten steps led up to it, and there were pillars beside the posts on either side.
