But a certain man drew his bow and unknowingly struck the king of Israel between the scale armor and the breastplate, so he said to the driver of his chariot, “Turn around, and carry me out of the battle, for I am wounded.”


King Jehoshaphat of Judah returned in peace to his house in Jerusalem.


Misfortune pursues sinners, but prosperity rewards the righteous.


If someone is burdened with the blood of another, let that killer be a fugitive until death; let no one offer assistance.


But if you do not do this, you have sinned against the Lord, and be sure your sin will find you out.
