Now Jesus stood before the governor, and the governor asked him, “Are you the king of the Jews?” Jesus said, “You say so.”


They bound him, led him away, and handed him over to Pilate the governor.


Jesus said to him, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.


Jesus answered him, “You would have no power over me unless it had been given you from above; therefore the one who handed me over to you is guilty of a greater sin.”


Indeed, just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whomever he wishes.


For just as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself,


nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mortals life and breath and all things.


Through the testing of this ministry you glorify God by your obedience to the confession of the gospel of Christ and by the generosity of your partnership with them and with all others,


for in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith.


See now that I, even I, am he; there is no god besides me. I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal; and no one can deliver from my hand.
