In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace


In former generations this mystery was not made known to humankind, as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit:


and walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.


when he comes to be glorified by his saints and to be marveled at on that day among all who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed.


which he will bring about at the right time—he who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords.


Do not be ashamed, then, of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner, but join with me in suffering for the gospel, in the power of God,


in due time he revealed his word through the proclamation with which I have been entrusted by the command of God our Savior,


He it is who gave himself for us that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify for himself a people of his own who are zealous for good deeds.


he entered once for all into the holy place, not with the blood of goats and calves but with his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption.


He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that, having died to sins, we might live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.


For Christ also suffered for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, in order to bring you to God. He was put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit,


In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.


and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and freed us from our sins by his blood


They sing a new song: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to break its seals, for you were slaughtered and by your blood you ransomed for God saints from every tribe and language and people and nation;
