For our appeal does not spring from deceit or impure motives or trickery,


who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works but according to his own purpose and grace, and this grace was given to us in Christ Jesus before the ages began,


Pursue peace with everyone and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.


—especially those who indulge their flesh in depraved lust and who despise authority. Bold and willful, they are not afraid to slander the glorious ones,
