Thus all the work of Solomon was accomplished, from the day the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid until the house of the Lord was finished completely.


“Three times a year all your males shall appear before the Lord your God at the place that he will choose: at the Festival of Unleavened Bread, at the Festival of Weeks, and at the Festival of Booths. They shall not appear before the Lord empty-handed;


Because they have forsaken me and have made offerings to other gods, so that they have provoked me to anger with all the works of their hands, my wrath will be poured out on this place and will not be quenched.’


My sons, do not now be negligent, for the Lord has chosen you to stand in his presence to minister to him and to be his ministers and offer incense.”


The sons of Amram: Aaron and Moses. Aaron was set apart to consecrate the most holy things, so that he and his sons forever should make offerings before the Lord and minister to him and pronounce blessings in his name forever,


In the eleventh year, in the month of Bul, which is the eighth month, the house was finished in all its parts and according to all its specifications. He was seven years in building it.


Three times in the year all your males shall appear before the Lord God, the God of Israel.


Aaron shall offer fragrant incense on it; every morning when he dresses the lamps he shall offer it,


for four days every year the daughters of Israel would go out to lament the daughter of Jephthah the Gileadite.


So he built the house and finished it; he roofed the house with beams and planks of cedar.


So Solomon built the house and finished it.
