But listen now to this word that I speak in your hearing and in the hearing of all the people.


Hear this word that the Lord has spoken against you, O people of Israel, against the whole family that I brought up out of the land of Egypt:


Hear, you peoples, all of you; listen, O earth, and all that is in it, and let the Lord God be a witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple.


If these people die a natural death or if a natural fate comes on them, then the Lord has not sent me.


“David himself calls him Lord, so how can he be his son?” And the large crowd was listening to him with delight.
