Woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing infants in those days! For there will be great distress on the earth and wrath against this people;


Now concerning the matters about which you wrote: “It is good for a man not to touch a woman.”


Are you bound to a wife? Do not seek to be free. Are you free from a wife? Do not seek a wife.


But if you marry, you do not sin, and if a virgin marries, she does not sin. Yet those who marry will experience distress in the flesh, and I would spare you that.


To the unmarried and the widows I say that it is good for them to remain unmarried as I am.


not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as though from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord is already here.


For the time has come for judgment to begin with the household of God; if it begins with us, what will be the end for those who do not obey the gospel of God?
