Keep watch over yourselves and over all the flock, of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God that he obtained with the blood of his own Son.


Therefore I do my best always to have a clear conscience toward God and all people.


Let us therefore no longer pass judgment on one another, but resolve instead never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother or sister.


To the church of God that is in Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, together with all those who in every place call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours:


just as I try to please everyone in everything I do, not seeking my own advantage but that of many, so that they may be saved.


What! Do you not have households to eat and drink in? Or do you show contempt for the church of God and humiliate those who have nothing? What should I say to you? Should I commend you? In this matter I do not commend you!


And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then deeds of power, then gifts of healing, forms of assistance, forms of leadership, various kinds of tongues.


For I am the least of the apostles, unfit to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.


However that may be, let each of you lead the life that the Lord has assigned, to which God called you. This is my rule in all the churches.


Therefore, if food is a cause of their falling, I will never again eat meat, so that I may not cause one of them to fall.


Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, To the church of God that is in Corinth, together with all the saints throughout Achaia:


We are putting no obstacle in anyone’s way, so that no fault may be found with our ministry,


You have heard, no doubt, of my earlier life in Judaism. I was violently persecuting the church of God and was trying to destroy it.

if I am delayed, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and support of the truth.


for if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how can he take care of God’s church?
