For it has been made clear to me by Chloe’s people that there are quarrels among you, my brothers and sisters.


For, to begin with, when you come together as a church, I hear that there are divisions among you, and to some extent I believe it.


that there may be no dissension within the body, but the members may have the same care for one another.

So we are ambassadors for Christ, since God is making his appeal through us; we entreat you on behalf of Christ: be reconciled to God.


As we work together with him, we entreat you also not to accept the grace of God in vain.


Brothers and sisters, I beg you: become as I am, for I also have become as you are. You have done me no wrong.


Only, live your life in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that, whether I come and see you or am absent and hear about you, I will know that you are standing firm in one spirit, striving side by side with one mind for the faith of the gospel


Only let us hold fast to what we have attained.


esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.


As to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we beg you, brothers and sisters,


In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus and of the elect angels, I warn you to keep these instructions without prejudice, doing nothing on the basis of partiality.


In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I solemnly urge you:


They came to the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh, in the land of Gilead, and they said to them,


Beloved, I urge you as aliens and exiles to abstain from the desires of the flesh that wage war against the soul.


And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, support, strengthen, and establish you.
