I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.


The mighty God, even the Lord, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.


I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.


Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.


This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.


All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of the Lord, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God, according to the king's order to Asaph, Jedu´thun, and Heman.


Of Jedu´thun: the sons of Jedu´thun; Gedali´ah, and Zeri, and Jeshai´ah, Hashabi´ah, and Mattithi´ah, six, under the hands of their father Jedu´thun, who prophesied with a harp, to give thanks and to praise the Lord.
