The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I erred not from thy precepts.


The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set gins for me. Selah.


Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity.


I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel.

All the brethren of the poor do hate him: how much more do his friends go far from him? He pursueth them with words, yet they are wanting to him.
