And it shall come to pass, as soon as I am gone from thee, that the Spirit of the Lord shall carry thee whither I know not; and so when I come and tell Ahab, and he cannot find thee, he shall slay me: but I thy servant fear the Lord from my youth.


And they said unto him, Behold now, there be with thy servants fifty strong men; let them go, we pray thee, and seek thy master: lest peradventure the Spirit of the Lord hath taken him up, and cast him upon some mountain, or into some valley. And he said, Ye shall not send.


Moreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of the Lord's house, which looketh eastward: and behold at the door of the gate five and twenty men; among whom I saw Ja-azani´ah the son of Azur, and Pelati´ah the son of Benai´ah, princes of the people.


Afterward the spirit took me up, and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Chalde´a, to them of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me.


Then the spirit took me up, and I heard behind me a voice of a great rushing, saying, Blessed be the glory of the Lord from his place.


So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the Lord was strong upon me.


In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel, and set me upon a very high mountain, by which was as the frame of a city on the south.


So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the Lord filled the house.


And he put forth the form of a hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north; where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy.


Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.


And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.


For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.


For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succor them that are tempted.


but every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
