These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.


And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood.


And all the vessels of the house of God, great and small, and the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the king, and of his princes; all these he brought to Babylon.


And I made treasurers over the treasuries, Shelemi´ah the priest, and Zadok the scribe, and of the Levites, Pedai´ah: and next to them was Hanan the son of Zaccur, the son of Mattani´ah: for they were counted faithful, and their office was to distribute unto their brethren.


And he carried out thence all the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the king's house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the Lord, as the Lord had said.


But all the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, are consecrated unto the Lord: they shall come into the treasury of the Lord.


and he took away the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the king's house; he even took away all: and he took away all the shields of gold which Solomon had made.


And they burnt the city with fire, and all that was therein: only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the Lord.


But Jehoi´ada the priest took a chest, and bored a hole in the lid of it, and set it beside the altar, on the right side as one cometh into the house of the Lord: and the priests that kept the door put therein all the money that was brought into the house of the Lord.


which devour widows' houses, and for a show make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.
